Day nine.

Ive started on figures today.
Like drawing bodies etc. Though i should add that in while im learning faces, just to give myself abit of variety.
This time im going to try and draw the figures in positions relevaqnt to my future hopeful zombie comic.

The first few are coming out succesful, but then this stage isnt too hard so it's not going to be anything amazing (:


As for roboface; i havn't added much at all recently, due to my focus on the drawing. But maybe this weekend i will do a few more pictures out and about.

WOOYEAH.

Day Seven.

Not really the best start.
I can't seem to concentrate and focus at all recently. Like the past few months it's been like this.
BUT
I will draw. I have been again today for awhile now.
I really need to just realise im not prioritising, sort it out and just get on with it.

Especially since this is something i really want to do.



Right, today i think after a few last head shape practises I may be confident enough to start actually making it into a personalised head.


Im also keeping up the reading of comics. I think the best way to work out what looks good is to actually read some and see what i think is nice etc.

Well, Time again.

Day Five.

Oh......fuck.

So yeah, this weekend didn't go to plan at all.
And so far i have done no drawing at all. Im home now though and im staying here so i can do in abit.

Ive been reading more of The Walking Dead and i think it's the drawing style from the 1st book that im going to base my own on. I think it looks cool but without looking real childish and stuff.

Anyway, im real tired. So after naptime/work il get the drawing done and maybe post again later.

Day three.

Enterprise day, thank god never again.
I havn't really learnt anything about working and it was just real lame.

BUT WEEKEND
So all will get better, please?

Ive done my usual friday thing. Eat tons of junk, and it was lovely (:
I have found out that iceland mini doughnuts are actually the nicest thing ever.
And kick has gone up in price apparently?

anyway, being friday and the fact im not going out, after about 10ish imma start on some more drawing practise. Just carrying on from yesterday.
So once i do, il be back to post up again.
Until then its music/movie/me time bby, oh yus.

Theres a first time for everything.

Before I started drawing I thought id first take the Roboface; pictures, Since it was sunny still and all. This one was the best looking out of them all, even though its nothing special.
Is it just me or does my body look a really weird shape?
Hopefully il be able to get a new camera soon. Mine can't handle lighting very well, and its over all resolution is pretty terrible :/
I can manage though.

Music

Ive been trying to find another music blog to use ever since Robin Hood went down, but has nothing has been as good.
Animal Collective are my current like. Im probably going to try and find some more of there stuff.
Sung Tong = A really good album, i might try there most recent one.

With the drawing, im finally starting to bring a sense of dimension to the head. Before it was pretty much a shape with something drawn on top.

Now its a little more like things are being drawn into the shape and its getting a sense of depth. Its actually starting to look like an actual head. Just got to keep practising it.

Day two.

Ive plugged up a scanner i found around the house to my pc. So now when it comes to drawing it should be easier to post progess since i can show it too.

Ive started on drawing like head's and stuff and a little at facial stuff like a nose and eyes etc. Ive always struggled with noses so it's probably going to be one of the bits that takes me the longest :/

In the Roboface; escapades im gunna try on two more new photos tonight. Only problem is that i feel like they're all looking far to similar in terms of the background. Ive only done the pictures in my house, so i think i need to start moving outside.

2nd Post of the night.

Yeah

So over this year, i have decided to do the following.
(listed in like, order of what I really want to do first etc.)

• Learn to draw, and have drafted my own small (terrible) comic.
• Read up and figure out how to use Photoshop, for myself but also for school work/College.
• Im planning on buying a digital Camcorder, so imma try and make some shorts. Even if they are just based on my asian friend or my dinner.

So thats pretty much it yeah.
Because though i'd probably give up if i was just blogging about my progress, i may also talk about music and shit on here. Just to add to whats on here.

Day one.

Recently ive got more and more into different media things and such (YEAH IM SO COOL.)

and so cause i don't have enough real friends who care

IM SHARING THE EXPERIENCE WITH THE INTERNET.

I thought maybe if i keep a blog then i can post up how im doing with different bits and give myself a way to see what im doing right etc. It's probably, if like anything i do, gunna turn out super bad and il hate it.


BUT, imma give it ago.
